Telecom service provider Bharti Airtel has launched a digital quad-play platform called Airtel Home. The new platform as a part of its digital innovation program – Project Next.
Considered to be India’s first-of-its-kind platform, it seeks to simplify customer’s experience by bundling multiple Airtel services within home. Airtel Home creates a single family account with a unified interface on My Airtel app.
The initiative is expected to offer hassle-free multiple bill payments through a single bill for all services – home broadband (and fixed line), postpaid mobile and digital TV.
Additionally, users will get up to 10% discount on bill payments based on number of connections bundled together. In a statement, the company said that the Airtel Home users will also get access to premium customer care.
To create an Airtel Home, users must download My Airtel App and click on ‘Airtel Home’ banner. They need to add Airtel home broadband connection as the primary account. Other Airtel connections can be added as add-on accounts.
Airtel Home is currently available as a beta version for Airtel home broadband customers in Hyderabad and will be rolled out across the entire country in coming weeks.
