One of the leading telecom operator of the country, Airtel, has rolled a new plan for its prepaid users in Delhi and NCR. The telco has introduced a Rs 549 plan as part of which it is offering data and voice calls.
Under the Rs 549 plan, Airtel prepaid users can enjoy unlimited local, STD and roaming calls along with 2.5GB data per day for the period of 28 days. Subscribers will also get unlimited messages. This means that Airtel users are now getting 70GB data in total.
Reliance Jio also offers a similar kind of plan for Rs 509. As part of the plan, the telco is offering 98GB data for the period of 49 days. There is a daily FUP limit of 2GB on data. Apart from this, Reliance Jio users can enjoy unlimited calling and SMS.
Along with the 549 plan, Airtel is also giving a 799 plan in competition to Relaince Jio. Under the 799 plan, Airtel prepaid customers will get 98GB data for the period of 28 days. This means that subscribers will get 3.5 GB data daily which is higher than what Reliance Jio is offering. Along with the data, customers will also get unlimited local, STD and roaming calls and SMS.
Talking about the Rs 799 plan from Relaince Jio, customers are getting 84GB data with the daily FUP limit of 3GB for the same period of 28 days. Users can make unlimited local and STD calls with this plan as well.
