Here’s how you can buy Airtel or Vodafone SIM card from Amazon

E-commerce giant Amazon recently allowed its customers to recharge their mobile using Amazon Pay. The e-tailer has now started selling postpaid SIM cards on its platform. Customers can purchase Airtel, Vodafone and international travel SIM cards from Amazon. Moreover, the online retailer will deliver the SIM card to your doorstep within 24 hours from the date of purchase.

Amazon will not be charging anything extra as the delivery charges. In order to purchase a SIM card, customers just have to follow a simple process. Users just have to log on to Amazon and place an order for the new SIM card.

After this, Airtel or Vodafone executive will make an appointment with the user and then visit them to deliver the SIM card. At the time of the delivery they will check and collect all the important documents required for a new connection. Along with that, they will also take two copies of Aadhaar card and two passport size photographs.

 Once the verification process is complete then the application will be submitted for SIM activation. After this, the SIM will start working.Presently, Amazon is offering Airtel postpaid SIM cards with unlimited monthly plans for Rs 499, Rs 799, Rs 1,199 and Rs 1,599. On the other hand, the Vodafone SIM cards will be available bundled with Vodafone Red postpaid plans which include Rs 499, Rs 699, Rs 999, Rs 1,699, Rs 1,999 and Rs 2,999. Moreover, all the Vodafone plans will come bundled with 60GB data.
Vodafone is charging Rs 15 for the SIM card, while Airtel is taking the security deposit of Rs 200 for its connection. Apart from this, customers can also book international SIM cards for their travel. Currently, Amazon is selling SIM card of Lycamobile which works in countries like UK, US, Portugal, Italy, Australia, Portugal, Austria, Europe, Hong Kong and Belgium.
