E-commerce giant Amazon recently allowed its customers to recharge their mobile using Amazon Pay. The e-tailer has now started selling postpaid SIM cards on its platform. Customers can purchase Airtel, Vodafone and international travel SIM cards from Amazon. Moreover, the online retailer will deliver the SIM card to your doorstep within 24 hours from the date of purchase.
Amazon will not be charging anything extra as the delivery charges. In order to purchase a SIM card, customers just have to follow a simple process. Users just have to log on to Amazon and place an order for the new SIM card.
After this, Airtel or Vodafone executive will make an appointment with the user and then visit them to deliver the SIM card. At the time of the delivery they will check and collect all the important documents required for a new connection. Along with that, they will also take two copies of Aadhaar card and two passport size photographs.
