In 2019, PUBG MOBILE saw a lot of new content added to the game to make for an enjoyable experience for players. Hence, as 2020 starts, we can expect even more from the PUBG MOBILE team this year, bringing lots more for the players to enjoy. Last we spoke about PUBG MOBILE, leaks suggested that the game will let players use a grappling hook to go around the map faster as well as use it for defence. However, another major upgrade is coming soon and it will delight the old-timers roaming around the realms of PUBG MOBILE.
Thanks to a new leak from PUBG MOBILE streamer Wynnsanity on YouTube, we now have an idea of what PUBG MOBILE’s original map will look like after a couple of updates. Yes, you have heard rumours about it and it now seems that it will be happening soon enough. PUBG MOBILE will deliver an updated Erangel map to the game similar to the PC version. And, it seems that China is set to get newer Erangel soon with a mega update.
The video shows the Chinese version of PUBG MOBILE, which is called the Game For Peace, getting a new version of Erangel. The leaked image shows the map of the new version of Erangel, highlighting all the changes it will receive. The map will get a big river running through the centre of the map, with a tributary heading towards the North into a lake. The areas still remain the same as the older version of Erangel.
Hence, for PUBG MOBILE purists, Erangel 2.0 will let players involve water bodies and vehicles into their fights. The new bridges joining the two halves of the map will let players camp together even more than usual. You can also expect better visual effects as well as newer textures to make the map more involving for the players.
The video also goes on to show another teaser video of an update coming to Game For Peace and it shows players running around the map using the grappling hook, rocket boosters and shields to fight as well as protect themselves. The game is also expected to get a special faction-based system that could also trickle down to PUBG MOBILE in the coming months.
