Reliance Jio launches 3 new JioLink plans starting at Rs 699 with 5GB daily data

Reliance Jio has rolled out three new plans for its JioLink subscribers at a starting price of Rs 699. JioLink is a 4G WiFi hotspot service which is still under the testing phase and is available in some parts of the country. The new plans are for existing JioLink subscribers. For those unaware, JioLink service comes with router-like CPE device that is installed at the subscriber’s house from which an Ethernet cable connection or wireless connectivity is provided. This connection is similar to what happens in satellite dish television setup. The company is yet to officially roll out the service in the country. JioLink is mostly target for shops, malls or places where larger number of users will connect to the Internet.

As per the new plans, at a price of Rs 699, Reliance Jio will offer 140GB of total data with a daily limit of 5GB for a period of 28 days. After the FUP limit, the speed will get reduced to 64Kbps. Jio is also offering additional 500MB data per day as part of its ‘Double Dhamaka’ offer. Note that there is no voice or SMS service incentives with any JioLink plans. However, subscribers will get free access to Jio apps.

At a price of Rs 2,099, JioLink will offer a total of 490GB for a period of 98 days with a daily data limit of 5GB. With the ‘Double Dhamaka’ offer, subscribers will get 500MB free data extra per day.

Lastly, there is a plan at a price of Rs 4,199 which will offer the same 5GB daily data for a period of 196 days along with the additional free 500MB per data.
