Xiaomi Black Shark, the gaming-oriented smartphone, will soon be available in global markets after its launch in China earlier this year. The Black Shark website now has a dedicated global page indicating its launch in international markets. The dedicated international page allows users to enter their email address and notifies users that ‘Sharks Approaching’ and ‘Unleashing Soon’. The Black Shark is a subsidiary of Chinese consumer electronics maker Xiaomi and is focussed on producing gaming-centric devices.
Xiaomi Black Shark sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with Adreno 630 GPU. It includes 6/8GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage.
On the camera front, there is a dual rear setup- 12-megapixel lens with f/1.8 aperture + 20-megapixel lens with f/1.8 aperture. The selfie camera is a 20-megapixel shooter with f/2.2 aperture.
Xiaomi Black Shark is backed by a 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. The smartphone is priced at EUR 450 (approximately Rs. 38,407) and is available in Black Gray and Royal Blue colours.
Meanwhile, Razer Phone 2, the successor to the Razer Phone, has been launched, and the gaming-oriented smartphone is said to offer up to 30 per cent better performance than its predecessor. Razer Phone 2 includes the latest flagship Qualcomm chipset and comes with thermal cooling for sustained performance. The Razer Phone 2 continues to sport a 120 Hz display and is said to be 50 per cent brighter than the one on the original. The company claims louder and crisper sound on the Razer Phone 2 with the dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos.
